leaving
tomorrow night i am leaving for hong kong...i'll be away 'til may 4th, so if you're looking for me...don't :p

if anyone wants to pray, pray for my grandma and relatives who don't know God (but especially my grandma)...and for God to open my heart to asia...we might go to japan or thailand or macau for a little bit too).

and for unspoken requests + that i'll see/hear God...things are still problematic though in different ways than before.

briefly... as if you'll understand unless you were there or someone told you about it

  • sunday: all over downtown...30 minutes late...friends = good
  • cousins came. enjoyed that. love them.
  • God is good -- jeidy, g.s.t. credit, something i forgot, stuff
  • my aunt loooves me. i guess other relatives do too...
  • did not hit me that i was moving out...but i'm gone. things (going to hk) are going so quickly.

    go
today (well, yesterday) mr. vermont wrote: "Abba really showed me that part of the commission is teaching the converted to obey Jesus’ teachings." once i went to a talk about discipleship in this passage (matt. 28) and once i heard charles price say something about the importance of teaching the Bible, but when i read mr. vermont's entry today i realized that teaching the Bible and discipleship are part of the Great Commission. quite important to realize considering what i wanna do. when i heard the speaker talk about discipleship my response to it was more that it was an excuse for me to not do evangelism in my thoughts of the future. now i see it's part of the Great Commission. not that evangelism should be downplayed (you would have nobody to disciple anyway, right? :p ) i think the speaker's point was not just to focus on evangelism and then leave ppl there after they accept and choose to follow God, but to disciple ppl too... which is important and commanded. hmm i think charles price &/or a speaker @ peoples commented on discipleship too...about people the # of ppl who make the decision vs. the # of ppl who are actually followers of Christ..something like that.

frosh week interview @ noon tmw...
