i am beginning to call school waterpoo again...after frosh week i couldn't b/c i had such a good time..hee hee. last week i actually didn't really wanna leave (but then on sunday i didn't really wanna come back, heh). presentations etc. are starting =\

when me, kwan and sam went to kingston the bus was pretty empty. it was almost full this time. took a cab to mel's house..much cheaper than that cab from conestoga mall to home. saw steph, did some reading...some. watched days (which shouldn't have happened) but nothing bad happened to me.
went to will's and esther's houses. esther's house is sooo neat! will's is pretty nice. so is 311. esther's so funny (her lack of sense of direction :p ) later we went back to will's house for dinner. THANKS WILL! IT WAS SOOOO GOOD!!!!. then we went to fellowship.

fellowship was good i guess -- worship time was like how it used to be at pca stuff. i think it's the lights, drums and familiar songs (though on sunday at church i enjoyed the familiarity of a song we sing at my waterloo church :p -- we don't sing a lot of the same songs as we did at peoples)...and maybe God :p (yeah something more than darkness and music though those helped :p esp. the song we sang at urbana) they had cell groups so me and ems followed aaron. tiffany, peter, sammy and mathius (i think) who i saw at sandwich run before were in our group. played a balloon game and egg game...and sammy took a lot of toilet paper for the toilet paper game :p chilled in the hallway after fellowship...saw febreeze... later becca came to mel's apt. but i was showering =\

on saturday i woke up at 10:15 when aaron knocked on the door...then i went back to bed. i slept in the living room and emily slept in steph's room b/c i am kinda sick. went upstairs to kwan's apt. and could hear ppl inside but did they answer the door? noooooo. went downstairs and was locked out of mel's apt. nobody answered there either...went back upstairs again..could hear them inside but no answer...went downstairs and mel left the door open 'cos she realized i wasn't in either apt :p mel says it's something wrong w/ my knocking.

oh yeah, mel made us yummy food for lunch on friday. mel made me pork (which smelled funny but we didn't get ed so it's all good :p ) for lunch on saturday. i was indecisive about going to transformers b/c i didn't wanna make the kids sick. james said that kids are full of germs anyway so they would make ea. other sick anyway. decided to go when elim and judy were leaving to go :p

met some ppl at transformers...i was supposed to be a group leader but ended up marking the kids when they got cotton candy. then it was jumping castle time. hectic and about 1.5 hours of yelling. but throat is unexpectedly not sore. there was a teenager there who had been burned before...looked like he had been burned really badly. just from watching him talk to other teenagers he seemed really normal. at night there was a program for youth. would have liked to stay but that would make going home a bit complicated. it place was located next to gov't housing (and near a trailer park). the lady said that a lot of women and their kids live there waiting for the men to come out of jail.

came home and went to kwan/adrian/aaron's place. emily was playing neopets..hee hee. kwan was busy and adrian was sleeping. . oh yeah on friday night watched part of 'catch me if you can' at their place. then we had dinner made by aaron, james and melody and watched t.v. food was good ;) then we walked to downtown kingston (the more shopping and tourist district parts) and ate ice cream from white mountain. saw the place i went to when we came w/ bus tour ha. then we sat at the lake. thank you melody (and i guess the others :p ) for making me not left out. (it was melody and james and emily and aaron..yeah). then we went to james' house and looked at his pets. after we went home elim and johnny and helen sang a song for mel and james. did crosswords w/ emily

on sunday we went to kcac. the message was good (and someone didn't have a pen and paper). there was a bbq after. talked to vansa and kwan and a bunch of other ppl. james was supposed to be watching me 'cos mel was teaching sunday school..he thought he lost me..hee hee. afterwards i went to vansa and mag's house. haven't really seen vanessa much so it was cool that we could chat w/out weird moments and stuff. went back to 311, saw febreeze and kwan before their meeting, went to aaron's apt. and put up adrian's pictures.

kwan said to say bye before leaving..waved to him while emily got her shoes. then we took a cab. aids came to watch emily and aaron's good bye :p before the bus left me and emily made fun of adrian and he did stupid (well, funny) things...

we left at 5:15. after my dad and i had dinner at dickens (well arc de triomphe). finished my diversity reading @ home.

3) things here are going much better than i expected. actually doing GOOD instead of sucky! (though not always ofcourse :p ) FROSH WEEK WAS SO FUN! -- DO IT; your only regret will be not doing it in previous years! well, at waterloo anyway...and if you aren't stuck doing security like aaron..hee hee.

sunday- helped ppl move into uw place -- elevator broke so we took the stuff of the guy who lived on the 3rd floor...some ppl helped the guy who lived on the 9th floor! suites really small. juan remembered my name! to my suprise. yeah and juan is gooood lookin' (hope none of the other leaders see this, though they probably all thought it anyway ;) ) ...did the kits and painted banners

monday- um...oh painted banners. went to leanne's house.

tuesday- 1st day. games didn't seem that fun.. only leanne got stuff thrown at her :) TALKED TO ANGELA (saw her on mon. but didn't wanna interrupt her during her tour) who turns out to be related to mike and sammi. talked to sarah.

wednesday- scavenger hunt -- WAY FUNNER than i would ever imagine. (had other events besides scavenger hunt)

thursday- faculty day, monte carlo night. sold mocktails :)

friday- yellow card night! :) ( = rock concert - not my taste - plus dj - my taste :p )

saturday- black and gold, did tatoos. FUN! night: TOGA -- FUN! but why must all dance songs be dirty... b/w those two: MAJOR PLUMBING PROBLEMS. hot day, was gonna shower after black and gold. open the shower curtain and the tub is 1/4 full of water -- not nasty brown water but dirty water anyway. turns out toilet makes water go into tub when flushed. took the guy over an hour to get whatever was clogging the pipes. now toilet makes weird noises..
saturday night penny came to sleep over.

being a leader is way funner than being a frosh -- i think b/c i'm diff. than i was in 1st yr, i know ppl (other leaders) and talking to frosh as a leader is easier than frosh initiating conversation w/ frosh. oh and i'm more likely to get into it as a leader than as a frosh.

this week:
went to i.v. w/ penny. went to ccf to see if derek was there after -- he was, as was joanna. met a bunch of ccf ppl and hung out w/ them. REALLY NICE PPL. bumped into josh twice. latino josh goes to ccf.
saturday: arts leaders party (was not there)
sunday: church -- message wasn't that great. went to swing club after. grocery shopped -- called cab so food wouldn't go bad. RIP-OFF. don't wanna tell you the cost.
am done reading! well all if you don't include the book i didn't buy which i think i will buy...
